Quality Care for Diverse Populations is a program offered by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Working Together to End Racial and Ethnic Disparities: One Physician at a Time Kit(DVD, CD-ROM and facilitation guide), offered by the American Medical Association (AMA), is a resource for physicians and their staff to improve awareness and skills in addressing the inequities in care that patients from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds receive.
Critical Measures, a training and management consulting company, has a website that contains a useful fact sheet defining cultural competence, why it is important, and how health care practitioners can obtain cultural competency training.
