David Notari, former CEO of Innovation Health, has joined EmblemHealth to lead the company's expanded sales operation as Senior Vice President. Notari brings more than 15 years of experience leading sales and outreach within the individual and small group employer markets on behalf of Aetna and UnitedHealthcare. At EmblemHealth, Notari will lead the expansion of the employer markets (small and large group accounts), commercial business and marketplace sales.

Prior to joining EmblemHealth, Notari was the Chief Executive Officer of Innovation Health where he was responsible for leading the joint venture between Aetna and Inova Healthcare System. The combined entity served nearly 200,000 individuals and business members throughout Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. Before joining Innovation Health, Notari was the head of National Sales and Distribution for Aetna, leading growth and expansion efforts across the small group and individual business markets during the start of the Affordable Care Act. Prior to his time at Aetna, Notari was responsible for leading UnitedHealthcare's Mid-Atlantic sales efforts for small businesses and employers.
